Curriculum:
The school follows the CICSE board up till Std-X and in XI-XII Maharashtra HSC Board.
Pratima Palande School (ICSE) is an English Medium Co-ed School.
Pratima Palande Junior College is an English & Marathi Co-ed School.
PRIMARY SCHOOL
The curriculum for Std. I to IV aims at developing students’ personal, social and emotional well-being. It promotes positive attitudes and disposition towards learning, provides opportunities to develop social skills as well as developing language and communication. It develops Reading and Writing skills, Mathematical abilities, knowledge of basic science and physical and creative potential of the students.
Although academics is given top priority in the curriculum, the non scholastic activities are not neglected. The students are divided into houses which encourage healthy competition and team spirit amongst the students.
MIDDLE SCHOOL
In Std. V to VII we start gearing up for the I.C.S.E. curriculum. English (language and literature) is given the greatest weightage in the curriculum and it is compulsory for a student to pass in this subject.
The School maintains high standards in all aspects of education. Although academics will be given top priority in the curriculum, the development of the child will not be neglected. Through the House System, healthy competition is encouraged in a variety of activities held on an on-going basis throughout the year.
SENIOR SCHOOL
Besides sports, cultural activities and theatre, students of Std- VIII, IX and X are prepared for the I.C.S.E. Examination as well as Std- XI and XII is prepared for HSC Board Examination
The school prepares students for the Indian Council School Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (Std.X).
The Second Language
Hindi will be the second language and will be taught from Std. I to Std. X. Indians who have lived overseas, and who have not studied Hindi till Class VI in their previous school, may be exempted from the study of Hindi if permission to do so is received by the School from the C.I.S.C.E, New Delhi. These students may be offered a foreign language as their second language.
The Third Language
Marathi will be taught as the third language from Std. I to Std. VIII. No student will be exempted from Marathi.
HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL
Std-XI and XII has three branches of Arts, Commerce and Science where students study in English and Marathi Medium.
It follows HSC Board syllabus as per Government of Maharashtra.We Prepared for NEET ,JEET and all other competitive examination.
